Alexander’s Ragtime Band

Alexander’s Ragtime Band is a swinging organisation that explores instrumental covers of popular melodies. Tunes from shows such as Oklahoma! and The King and I will feature alongside mysterious movie love songs and classic jazz standards, including the band’s namesake. The band takes cues from records such as the Benny Carter Cosmopolite sessions, and Ella and Louis. Expect American Songbook favourites, heart wrenching ballads, and luscious swing.
