The Big Band Bash

The Wellington All Stars Youth Big Band (WAYBB) is an auditioned ensemble of top-level high school students picked from around the Wellington Region. This year, they are dedicating their performance to the legendary Rodger Fox.  With musical directors Oscar Lavën, Greg Crayford and Liam Boyle, in association with Music Works and the Wellington Jazz Club you will be treated to a superb performance of big band music inspired by the Maestro himself.

Capital City Big Band are a high level ensemble of professional musicians, teachers, and top community musicians, They will entertain you with a variety of modern and traditional big band tunes, led by their very own trombone Maestro muscial director Jeromie Clark (USA).
