Taking inspiration from the sounds of Stan Getz and Bob Brookmeyer, Trombonist Liam George has brought together a fantastic bunch of ex-students and current students from the nz school of music, to form The Liam George Quintet. These fine people will serenade you with a healthy mix of classic jazz standards and lesser known tunes. Featuring Oscar Garvie on drums, Jacob Hurst on bass, Liam Reburn on guitar, Daniel Yeabsley on the tenor saxophone and on trombone, two time recipient of the prestigious Rodger Fox Award, Liam George.
