Saxophonist Nicholas Baucke-Maunsell and trumpeter Henry Sherris, who first honed their skills together at the Young Musicians Programme under the mentorship of Rodger Fox and other great teachers, are reuniting after a five-year hiatus. During this time Henry expanded his horizons in New York.
Joining Nicholas and Henry are Leo Coghini on piano, Seth Boy on bass, and Abe Baillie on drums—longtime collaborators who have been playing together around Wellington and with Nicholas for the past five years. This dynamic group is excited to share their passion for both modern jazz compositions and classic jazz standards.
